GEORGINA STEVENS
Hi! I’m a writer.
In the last twenty-five years I have worked in all corners of the sustainability industry. I’ve been part of some truly impactful corporate sustainability programmes and helped embed sustainability into many organisations’ DNA. I’ve helped companies realise the benefits of sustainability work when preparing for their IPO, and I’ve trained up their C-suite leaders too. I’ve also worked with some incredible NGOs to help them raise awareness of key issues and persuade companies to take bold action. I’ve also protested, presented and written about critical environmental issues and solutions for lots of different outlets. And I’ve presented a funny radio show on environmental issues where I interviewed lots of inspiring sustainability bods.
And now I am writing about it all, because it’s been so very hard and also so very hilarious! My thesis is that if more people understood the sustainability world a little bit more, they’d realise its just full of (mostly) normalish people trying their best, and so they would want to do more because they would see that they could but also because they would see help is needed! I’ve published a few children’s books about climate change and am now working on a couple of sitcoms, and an animated series. I also host a writers room by the sea in East Sussex, so do get in touch if you want to have a laugh and do some writing with me.
Thanks for stopping by.

Writers Room
Are you a writer looking for a free and inspiring co-working space to write in, or to collaborate with other writers?
I have a great space, with (not super-fast) wifi, great views and natural light, tea and coffee facilities, and a composting toilet that I share with other writers.
If this sounds like your kind of creative space then drop me a line at georgina@georginastevens.org and tell me about yourself and your writing project.
